This course is about health and safety, maintenance and procurement at schools. It equips participants with the awareness, knowledge and skills that can be used to understand and address health and safety, building condition, maintenance and procurement at schools. A fully interactive programme tailored to meet the audience’s requirements at basic, intermediate, and advanced levels.

Regular condition checks, preventative maintenance and responsive repairs ensure that infrastructure is in good condition and kept available for use. Well-maintained infrastructure provides an attractive, safe, and productive environment for education.

3. Procurement and contract management

Defined practices help ensure that procuring products and services such as repairs to buildings achieve the required results and value for money. Effective practices are supported through policy and structured procurement and contract management procedures which support efficiency, transparency and accountability.
